Protecting your personal data matters to us. This privacy policy explains how the Numly app handles your data.

What data is collected?

None. Numly does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app works entirely offline and without registration.

Local data

A few settings (such as your chosen accent color and appearance) and your calculation history (the last 100 calculations) are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us or to any third party. You can remove the history at any time with “Clear history”; deleting the app removes it as well.

In-app purchases

Numly offers optional tips through Apple's StoreKit framework. Payments are handled exclusively by Apple. We have no access to your payment details.

Third parties

Numly uses no analytics tools, ad networks or other third-party services.

Children

Numly is suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected, there are no particular risks for minors.

Changes

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.

Frequently asked questions

• How do I turn on scientific mode?
  Rotate your iPhone to landscape — the scientific calculator opens automatically. In portrait you can switch it on using the Std. / Sci. button at the top.
• How do I open the percentage calculator or the unit converter?
  Tap the grid icon in the top left of the calculator, then pick the tool you need. Both are also available in Settings under “Tools”.
• How do I change the color?
  Open Settings (···) and pick one of the suggested colors under “Accent color”, or choose your own.
• How do I copy a result or paste a number?
  Press and hold the display (on Mac: right-click, or ⌘C / ⌘V) and choose “Copy” or “Paste”. Tapping an entry in the history puts its result into the display.
• Can I use a keyboard?
  Yes. On Mac and on iPad with a hardware keyboard you can type digits and operators directly; Enter calculates, Esc clears. In the percentage calculator, Tab switches between the input fields.
• Is there a Mac version?
  Yes. Numly is a universal purchase — if you own it on iPhone or iPad, you can install it on your Mac at no extra cost.
• Can I undo a tip?
  You can review purchases in your device settings under Apple Account → Purchases. For refunds, please contact Apple.
