Tasklo shows your reminders from Apple Reminders and Google Tasks in one place. In short: Tasklo has no server of its own, no user accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your data stays on your devices and with Apple or Google. As the developer, we do not receive any of your data.

What data does the app process?

• Apple Reminders: With your permission, Tasklo reads your reminders and lists (title, notes, due date, flag, lists and accounts) and creates, edits or deletes them when you do so in the app. This includes Exchange, Outlook and CalDAV accounts you have set up in System Settings. Syncing between your devices is handled by Apple (iCloud) or the respective account provider, not by Tasklo.
• Google Tasks (optional, once available in the app): If you sign in with Google, Tasklo fetches your task lists and tasks directly from Google and writes your changes straight back. Sign-in happens on Google's own sign-in page (OAuth 2.0). Tasklo never sees or stores your Google password. The access token is kept in your device's Keychain and is readable only by Tasklo. Your email address is shown so you can see which account is connected.
• Settings: Language, appearance, hidden lists, default list, times and switches. They are stored locally on your device.

The data is used on your device for display, search, daily plan, notifications and widgets. It is not sold, not used for advertising and not transmitted to us.

Tasklo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Tasklo uses Google Tasks data only to show it to you in the app and to save your changes. It is not used for advertising, profiling or training AI models.

AI features (Apple Intelligence)

Text recognition in quick entry (title, date, time, list) uses Apple Intelligence and runs entirely on your device. No data is sent to us or to other providers. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable or turned off, Tasklo uses simple pattern matching, also on your device.

Notifications and widgets

Notifications for Google tasks are local notifications on your device. For Apple reminders, Tasklo sets alarms in Apple Reminders that the system triggers. Widgets read a short list of today's tasks from shared storage on your device (App Group). No data leaves the device.

Sharing

When you share a reminder or list, Tasklo creates a text and hands it to your system's share sheet. You decide where it goes. Tasklo does not send anything on its own.

No third parties, no ads

Tasklo contains no ads, no trackers and no analytics services. There is no registration.

Deleting and revoking

• Delete reminders in the app or in Apple Reminders, and tasks in Google Tasks.
• If you delete the app, its local settings are removed. Your reminders stay with Apple or Google.
• Disconnect Google in Tasklo under Settings → Accounts → Sign out. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Change access to Reminders in System Settings under Privacy & Security → Reminders.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we store none of your data, you exercise these rights directly through your device, your Apple account and your Google account. If you have questions, write to us.

Children

Tasklo is not specifically aimed at children.

Frequently asked questions

• Why don't I see any reminders?
  Tasklo needs access to Reminders. Turn it on in System Settings under Privacy & Security → Reminders, or tap “Open Settings” in the app.
• Which accounts are supported?
  All accounts that Apple Reminders shows: iCloud, Exchange, Outlook and CalDAV. Set them up in System Settings and they appear in Tasklo automatically. Google Tasks is planned for a later update.
• How fast does it sync?
  Changes in Apple Reminders appear within seconds. Apple handles syncing between your devices.
• Can I share lists and work on them together?
  You can share single reminders and whole lists as text through the share sheet. Collaborating on Apple lists is managed by Apple itself; Tasklo opens the Reminders app for that.
• How do I change the language?
  Settings → Language: Deutsch or English. This also applies to text recognition.
• How do I add widgets?
  Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap “+” and search for Tasklo. On the Mac, find it in the widget gallery.
• Does Siri work?
  Yes, for example “New reminder in Tasklo”. You will also find the actions in the Shortcuts app.

Purpose of the app

Tasklo helps you organize reminders and tasks. The daily plan and text recognition are aids and may contain errors. Check important appointments and deadlines yourself and do not rely on the app alone.

Third-party services

Tasklo uses Apple Reminders, iCloud and Apple Intelligence. Their terms and privacy policies apply in addition and are your responsibility.

License

Tasklo is provided to you for personal use. You may not copy, modify or resell the app.

Disclaimer

The app is provided without warranty. We are liable for data loss, missed reminders or damages arising from its use only in cases of intent and gross negligence and where the law mandatorily provides for liability.

Apple, iCloud, Siri, Apple Intelligence, Google and other names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners. Tasklo is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
